Hi there! Aside from reading books, I'm also into watching animes and movies during free time. For anime, I am currently watching Toradora! and Gintama (2006). I'm barely halfway of Gintama tho. Hahaha. And oh, I'm waiting for new episodes of Detective Conan, it takes a while before a new one is posted. Well, today, I'm going to have a short talk about the movies I've watched recently. And also, I've created a Mydramalist account so I could keep track of everything I watch, but I am quite having a hard time recalling what I've watched. Hahaha.

Wolf Girl and Black Prince (Japanese)- Typical, boring shoujo story. I never thought I would get ever tired of watching shoujo. Huhu. Honestly, I watched it because of Yamaken and I don't know why he has the same role in most of his movies. He always stars in live action movies of shoujo stories, so its quite inevitable. So, the story is about a girl who had the popular guy act as her boyfriend and you can guess what happened next. They ended up together, happy ending.

If Cats Disappeared from the World (Japanese)- "If I disappear from the world, who on earth would be sad for me?" Nope, the cats did not disappear. Weird movie for me.

Back to the 90s (Thai)- Nice and light story, contains comedy and good music. It's a time travel movie, back to the 90s where internet's still a baby while pagers are the thing. A guy goes back in time to fix his parents' relationship which was 'hindered' by his father's childhood friend. What I've noticed about Thai movies is that it includes a 'band' in the story, alternative rock bands specifically which provides the movie a good vibe with the soft alternatives playing every now and then. The ending was a bit hanging tho.

I Fine, Thank you (Thai)- Another romcom movie, has a very good story and plot, I like the pacing too. It is about an English tutor who teaches the guy how to speak english so he can pass the interview to follow his girlfriend who left him for America (huh, na gets nyo? hahaha). I love the lead girl, she's very pretty and undeniably good in English. Haha.

Before Sunrise (American)- Weird, I watched an American film. I was so looking forward to watching this because of the good reviews. It's a nice, spontaneous movie. I love that the story is just a one whole day, yet many things happened and they talked about a lot of things. I thought something sad would happen at the ending, but fortunately it ended quite right.

Sweet Sixteen (Chinese)- This one is tragic. I really love Chinese tragic and dramatic movies, brings out intense feels. Hmm. I don't know how to explain the plot, but you can check it out if interested. One of the lead characters is an ex member of EXO, though I didn't really know when I watched the movie.

At Cafe 6 (Taiwanese)- Coming of age story, deals with conflicts during long distance relationships. It almost, ALMOST, has the same vibe to You are the apple of my eye, but it quite failed me. It was a bit tragic and the lead has his own issues to solve. What I like about it is the friendship between the lead guy and his bestfriend shown in the film.

I'm not sure if this is helpful. Hahaha. Pending movies I still need to watch: The Stolen Years, Remember You, and Love H2O.

Late news, but better late than never. But who is that guy?

DISH// apparently got a "new" member or an import from CustomiZ! Their drummer, Izumi Daichi, is now part of DISH//. This was announced during their Nippon Budokan Live at New Year's Day. New Year, New Member. I was sad when I heard that CustomiZ was disbanding last August 2016, like what will happen to the members? Since I heard the new, I haven't got updates, so I'm not sure where they are now. My precious Goro T.T.

Lately, I've been seeing DISH// with five of them in the photo, but I didn't bother looking into it. But then, just last night, my sister pointed out an IG account, so I searched today finding out that it was Daichi! It's settled, DISH// has now its own drummer. They will be a legit band now. But I've been thinking. How are they as a group? I think there will be no awkwardness because they are all from Stardust. I'm sure I'll feel weird seeing Daichi with them. I don't mean this in a bad way, I'll get used to it after sometime. I think Daichi has no different vibe from 4 nin DISH//. He might even add to the awesomeness and craziness of the group. But I'll be certain once I've seen their first PV with 5 members.

The announcement was made at the encore of their one- man live. DAICHI first appeared as a iron masked man to hide his face. Looks like he was accepted cheerfully by the crowd. DISH// has finally a drum set with their logo. So DAICHI, do your best! I'll be looking forward to seeing you with DISH//.

Look at their new profile pictures now.

We get to see more 5nin pictures!

New Year, New DISH//! Good luck guys! The more the merrier. Hehe

As most of you know or notice, I am not really into Johnny's and Associates, but I'm still concerned about how are the juniors doing right now. It's really hard to catch because I dont know where to start looking for information. What I know for sure is that Bakaleya gumi is now Six Tones, but what about others? Is Mr. King vs Mr. Prince a permanent group? Is Aran Abe still with Travis Japan? Are there new groups to watch out for?

I know nothing is certain when you're just a junior and it's worse if you are not in a group.

I searched for Johnny's Jr. on wikipedia to see a list of junior groups and I got to see:

MADE (formed 2008)- Inaba Hikaru, Fukushi Nobuki, Akiyama Taiga, Tomioka Kento

They武道 (formed 2008)- Eda Tsuyoshi, Yamamoto Ryota, Hayashi Shota, Takahashi Ryu (ex mem)

ふぉ〜ゆ〜 (formed 2011)- Koshioka Yuki, Matsuzaki Yusuke, Fukuda Yuta, Tatsumi Yudai

Snow Man (formed 2012)- Fukasawa Tatsuya, Sakuma Daisuke, Watanabe Shota, Miyadate Ryota, Iwamoto Hikaru, Abe Ryohei

Travis Japan (formed 2012)- Nakada Hiroki, Kawashima Noeru, Shimekake Ryuya, Morita Myuto, Yoshizawa Shizuya, Nakamura Kaito, Miyachika Kaito, Kajiyama Asahi, Abe Aran (ex mem, omggg :( )

SixTONES (formed May 1, 2015)- Kochi Yugo, Kyomoto Taiga, Tanaka Juri, Matsumura Hokuto, Jesse, Morimoto Shintaro

Mr. King vs Mr. Prince (formed 2015)-
Mr. KING- Hirano Sho, Nagase Ren, Takahashi Kaito
Prince- Kishi Yuta, Iwahashi Genki, Jinguji Yuta

HiHi Jet (formed October 26, 2015)- Hashimoto Ryo, Inoue Mizuki, Igari Souya, Takahashi Yuto
Past members: Haba Yuuki, Sakuma Ryuto, Igarashi Reo, Ukisho Hidaka, Iwasaki Taishou

天才Genius (formed 2015)- Motodaka Katsuki, Muraki Ryota, Sugeta Rinne

Classmate J (formed 2016)- Iwahashi Taisho, Sasaki Taiko, Konno Taiki, Wada Yuki, Minato Matsui, Fujii Naoki

Love-tune (formed 2016)- Yasui Kentaro, Sanada Yuma, Morohoshi Shoki, Morita Myuto, Hagiya Keigo, Abe Aran, Nagatsuma Reo

Junior Boys (formed 2016)- Members are not permanent

東京B少年 (formed November 2016) Tokyo B Shounen- Fujii Naoki, Nasu Yuto, Ukisho Hidaka, Iwasaki Taisho, Sato Ryuga

Goodness! I barely know the newer and younger juniors. I believe more and more groups will be formed later on. Even those in  group will still be mixed up. But I'm really rooting for Snow Man, Travis Japan, and SixTONES. Good luck guys!

While I'm still at it, might as well post the lyrics for the Japanese version of When I was King. I know there are only few lines in Japanese, but I'm still glad they made that version, sounds better for me.

We said tonight
No going back
Nothing seems right
Stuck in the past

Tōmawari mo yorimichi mo
Subete no koto ni imi ga atte
karamawari mo sono itami mo

When am I, when am I
Gonna stop this dreaming?

When I was king
I was king
We had everything
When I was king
I was king
We had everything

Don’t wanna go
I’m holding on tight
Something to live for
Make it our nights

(Shut down the sirens in our heads)

When I was king
I was king
We had everything
When I was king
I was king
We had everything

If I go down
I will go down fighting
I’ll go down
Down like lightning (2x)

When I was king

When am I when am I
Gonna start living?
When am I when am I
Gonna move on?
When am I when am I
Gonna kill this feeling?
When am I when am I
Gonna stop this dreaming?

When I was king
I was king
When I was king
I was king
We had everything

When I was king

Hi everyone! I've been quite dormant last year, I haven't posted much, but I'm still alive and kicking. I still love ONE OK ROCK even though a lot is saying they have changed so much and have conformed to the US rock industry leaving their Japanese style. However, I can still feel their vibe in some of their songs, I honestly did not listen much to Taking Off and Bedroom Warfare, but I got hope when I heard I was King. I so love the song especially the Japanese version. I really wonder why their songs sound much better in Japanese. I'll still support ONE OK ROCK whatever path they may take because I believe, they will never forget where they have started. They have become versatile, yes.

Now, have you seen their latest music video, We are? They posted it yesterday and I can't help but love it. I'll be sharing the lyrics of the song.

Their new album, Ambitions, will be released on Jan. 13. (okay, when will I ever have my own cd?)

We are
We are
We are
We are

They think that we're no one
We're nothing, not sorry
They push us
It's too late, It's too late
Not going back

Yume wa owari me o samasu toki
zetsubou ya kibou mo dōjini me o samashi ta

When you're standing on the edge
So young and hopeless
Got demons in your head
We are, we are
No ground beneath your feet
Now here to hold you
cause we are, we are
The colors in the dark

They are the weakest
They don't even know
Anything they say
Will never break our hearts of gold

When you're standing on the edge
So young and hopeless
Got demons in your head
We are, we are
No ground beneath your feet
Now here to hold you
cause we are, we are
The colors in the dark

Never tell yourself
You should be someone else
Stand up
tell and say
I'm not afraid, I'm not afraid
So never tell yourself

You should be someone else
Stand up
tell and say
I'm not afraid

When you're standing on the edge
So young and hopeless
Got demons in your head
We are, we are
No ground beneath your feet
Now here to hold you
cause we are, we are
The colors in the dark

Hello!

I've been obsessed with ELLEGARDEN songs since last year or last last year (*I can't remember well). Supernova was one of the very first songs I heard from them. I was really sad to know that the band had an indefinite hiatus since 2008. I was so late knowing them. They have really good songs, most lyrics written by the lead vocalist, Takeshi Hosomi. Since then, I became attracted to punk rock and searched YouTube for some other bands, but ELLEGARDEN will always be the best.

As I was searching for information about the group, I came across the band called 'the HIATUS' which is apparently Takeshi's new group. This band has somehow a different genre which is more on alternative rock or heavy, I don't know how to describe what type is it. Not really suits my taste, but they have a very nice sound too.

Okay, so just a few days ago, I came to ONE OK ROCK concert (where they gave an absolutely amazing performance), and I was hanging around instagram for updates after the concert, then, suddenly, I came up with an idea of searching Takeshi's account on IG. And tadaaa, I discovered MONOEYES. His third band already, and is punk rock. They started their activities a year ago. I listened to their songs a while ago, and it made me remember EG. He really has the vibe for punk rock, I swear! And now, I must search for their songs and be updated with them.

And another thing, I was googling to find Takeshi's age which is 42, and found an article relating them to ONE OK ROCK. Here:

Takeshi Hosomi is japanese songwriter and singer. He affiliated with Ellegarden and the Hiatus, which Ellegarden announced their indefinite hiatus since 2008. After that, Takeshi formed a new band called the Hiatus in 2009. ONE OK ROCK style of music heavily influenced by Ellegarden. Some of their song really identical with ONE OK ROCK, such as Monster (モンスター) and Snake Fighting. Now Taka and Takeshi is the best friend. They spotted playing in a gig together once, in a acoustic set. Some of the people said Taka is the next 'Takeshi Hosomi' because they both have perfect pronunciation in English, which lack in most Japanese.

-from oneokrock.wikia

Isn't it amazing? lol. I haven't listened well to the songs mentioned above, but I think they do have such songs. Well, I also have thoughts about them knowing each other since they belong to the same industry, but performing in a gig together? THAT'S AWESOME!

Okay.

Mga time pa yun ata noong pinanood ko ang "Are the Apple of My Eye". Napaka-artistic. Hahaha. And of course! sobrang gwapo naman itong si Jin! HAHAHAHA. Mehe. Ngayon 42 years old na sya.

NYAHAHAHAHA.

Next on the list: Perhaps Love and Lavender

PS. Hindi ko pagmamay-ari ang mga litrato.

Like endless dreams we've fell into
I could feel you but it's hard to make it true
You and me drifting through the sea
Counting waves we are riding soundlessly

Looking at skies
Slow down the time, we could
Rocking the night
That's all we wanna do

Tell me what you're waiting for
Grab the beat inside your soul
bokura no basho It's OUR ZONE sagashi te
We'll be in ecstasy

We won't forget the things we do
When we wake up on the fields of morning dew
You tell me how you loved the view
When you're smiling, the whole world smiles with you

Touching the sky
Pretend to fly, we could
Feeling alive
That's all we wanna do

You and me, we are both one
Just like the sky and the stars
Tall hills below, would watch from afar
Just you and me

Tell me what you're waiting for
Grab the beat inside your soul
